If your home has fur tumbleweeds rolling across the floor, this is for you.
Often sold as a "steam brush", but there's no heat: it's a light, room-temperature water mist.
Fill the small tank with plain water. Brush as usual and press the mist button for a light, room-temperature spray. Damp fur sticks to the pins and to itself, so less of it ends up in the air. When the brush is full, press the release plate and drop the fur in the bin.
-
Fur stays on the brush, not on you. A light, room-temperature mist dampens loose fur so it clumps instead of floating onto your sofa and clothes.
-
Push to clear. One press of the release plate pushes the collected fur off the pins. Far less picking hair out by hand.
-
Short bursts, not soaking. Tap for a light spray only where you're brushing.
Who it's for
- Pets who hate bath time: deal with everyday loose fur between baths, no tub involved.
- Long-haired cats: the mist helps loose undercoat cling to the pins instead of floating around the room.
- Dogs in shedding season: a few minutes a day while the coat is blowing in spring and fall.
- Multi-pet homes: one brush for everyone. Clear the pins with the push plate between pets.
Less helpful on: very short, smooth coats. Loose hair doesn't cling as much there, so expect less on the brush.
